Trio Liszt

Founded in 2024, Trio Liszt brings together three Italian musicians united by a strong international background and a shared passion for chamber music. Since its debut, the ensemble has been praised for its interpretative cohesion, refined sound, and commitment to a vivid and engaging musical dialogue.

The members of the Trio received their training at some of the world's leading institutions, including the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, The Juilliard School in New York, the Accademia Walter Stauffer in Cremona, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, the Hochschule der Künste Bern, and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. During their artistic development they have worked with renowned musicians such as Giovanni Sollima, Corinna Belcea, the Quatuor Ebène, Andrea Lucchesini, Mario Brunello, Antonio Meneses, Sol Gabetta, Misha Maisky, William Naboré, Bruno Canino, and David Geringas. The ensemble is currently mentored by Pierpaolo Maurizzi, Trio di Parma, and Patrick Jüdt.

In March 2026, Trio Liszt achieved international recognition by winning Third Prize at the X International Stasys Vainiūnas Chamber Music Competition in Vilnius. Since 2025, the ensemble has also been a member of the prestigious Le Dimore del Quartetto network.

The Trio's members have performed in some of Europe's most distinguished concert halls, including the Musikverein Vienna, Philharmonie de Paris, Konzerthaus Berlin, Flagey Brussels, Sala Verdi Milan, and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York.

Their repertoire ranges from the Classical period to contemporary music, with a particular interest in rediscovering Italian chamber music. Among their forthcoming projects is the complete recording of Beethoven's Piano Trios, planned in connection with the celebrations marking the bicentenary of the composer's death in 2027.
